(22 November 2019, Pasay City, Philippines) SM Investments Corporation (SM) with Logika Concepts Inc. took home the Best Digital Ad-Branded award in the recently held 41st Catholic Mass Media Awards for “Tatang”, a video that pays tribute to the life and legacy of SM founder Henry Sy.
The video formed part of SM’s SoManyStories campaign for its 60th anniversary in 2018. Also nominated as finalists are the videos, “Saba”, a story of entrepreneurship through SM Markets’ turon and “Lost and Found” which portrays the origins of SM Cares’ programs for persons with special needs.
The Archdiocese of Manila, through His Eminence Archbishop Jaime L. Cardinal Sin, organized CMMA in 1978, in observance of the International Social Communication Day to stress the importance of mass media and to instill a sense of responsibility among communicators, particularly in radio, print, advertising, television, and film.
Through the years, CMMA has continued to promote values-filled mass media with thousands of entries received from different fields of communications.
