Business organizations honor SM Founder Henry Sy

(08 November 2019, Pasay City, Philippines) Two business organizations, The Philippine Chamber of Commerce Inc. (PCCI) and the International Chamber of Commerce Philippines (ICCP), bestowed posthumous honors on SM founder Henry Sy Sr. for his invaluable contribution to Philippine retail.

Receiving the award on Mr. Sy’s behalf during PCCI’s 45th Philippine Business Conference and Expo is daughter and SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation President Elizabeth T. Sy.

PCCI also recognized Mr. Sy for his support and generosity to initiatives of the organization and for being “an inspiration” to the organization’s meaningful endeavors.

SM has been a member of PCCI for the last 40 years.
