Business Leaders Launch Awards to Raise Awareness about ASEAN Integration

(05 May 2014. Pasay City, Philippines) Business leaders supported the launch of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN BAC) Business Awards, the first-ever recognition program for Philippine enterprises which have contributed to the growth and prosperity of the ASEAN economy.

ASEAN BAC Philippines led by members Teresita Sy-Coson, Vice Chair of SM Investments Corporation, and Jay Yuvallos, President of Interior Basics signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP), Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc. (Philexport), Financial Executive of the Philippines (FINEX), and the Asian Institute of Management (AIM).

“We look forward to working together for more awareness of the ASEAN integration program and for increasing the competitiveness of Filipino businesses in the region,” Mrs. Coson said.
