SM Supermalls continue to provide gov’t with accessible vaccination sites nationwide

“We will continue providing accessible vaccination venues and support the country’s vaccination drive to help achieve herd immunity. With our collaborative effort, we will be able to bounce back stronger and better in this pandemic,” said SM Supermalls President Steven Tan who added that SM has set up vaccination sites in 69 of its malls from North Luzon to Mindanao, to extend the reach of the vaccine rollout in urban and remote provinces.

Senior Vice President for Operations of SM Supermalls, Bien Mateo, added, “We at SM supermalls remain committed to work with the national government and our LGUs and private sectors, and the public to overcome this crisis and put an end to COVID-19.”

It’s encouraging po na sa Metro Manila we are close to 43 percent fully vaccinated. Ang population protection po ay nasa 50 percent, pero hindi naman po tayo titigil. Pararamihin pa rin po natin yung mga nababakunahan sa Metro Manila at gaya nung sinabi natin kanina, we will vax as one,” said Secretary Roque.

The “30M Jabs and Counting” event was also graced by National Task Force Against COVID-19 (NTF) Chief Implementer and Vaccine Czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., NTF Deputy Chief Implementer and Testing Czar Secretary Vivencio “Vince” Dizon, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairperson Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos Jr., MMDA General Manager (GM) Undersecretary Jose Arturo “Jojo” Garcia, Rodriguez Rizal Mayor Dennis Hernandez, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, Marikina City Mayor Marcelino Teodoro, San Mateo, Rizal Mayor Christina Diaz, former Rizal Governor Jun-Jun Ynares,  and SM Supermalls executives, President Steven Tan and SVP for Operations Bien Mateo.
