Mall hosts Mabalacat City vaccination program

JABBING AT SM CITY CLARK. A Mabalacaqueño received her Covid-19 vaccine at a cinema at SM City Clark, which is one of the venues of the Mabalacat City Government’s vaccination program.

Premier shopping mall SM City Clark is hosting the ongoing vaccination of the Mabalacat City Government.

The city’s vaccination program kicked off on May 21 after Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo, City Covid-19 Czar Dr. Jay Rivera, and SM Supermalls Regional Operations Manager North IV Andrea Maglangbayan signed a partnership agreement.

The mall’s Cinemas 4, 5, and 6 are the venues for the vaccination process.

According to Mabalacat City Information Officer Jay Pelayo IV, the mall was chosen as one of the vaccination venues because “the facility is accessible, comfortable for Mabalaqueños especially during this dry season since it is covered, air-conditioned, well-sanitized, and spacious, among others.”

Meanwhile, SM City Clark Mall Manager Jerwin Jalandoni said, “It’s SM’s way of involvement in community service to fight the pandemic. We want to offer a comfortable venue for vaccination specially to senior citizens.”

The vaccination program at SM City Clark will run until May 31.

For registration, Mabalaqueños may call the following numbers from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: 09550110539 (RHU1), 09615691968 (RHU 2), and 09489083341 (RHU 3).
