Local News SM Leaders Take Active Role In Promoting SDGs In Corporates

Page One- SM reiterated its commitment to be a partner for sustainable development, both in its operations and in reporting standards as the group continues to align its sustainable business practices and strategic social investments with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). As a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), SM supports the 10 Principles of the UNGC.

We anchor all our businesses on good corporate governance and ensure that the long-term success of the company remains balanced with the long-term best interests of our various stakeholders, most especially in the communities we serve,” said SMIC President and CEO Frederic DyBuncio. He added that SM’s diverse interests and targeted social investments such as in education, healthcare, food security, environmental sustainability and social development programs facilitate development and create positive impact to society.
