Henry Sy Foundation, UPMAFI to construct UP Manila’s Medical Sciences Building

The Henry Sy Foundation donated P300 million to the University of the Philippines Medical Alumni Foundation Inc. (UPMAFI) to support the construction of an 11-story Medical Sciences Building for UP Manila.

This building is aimed to support the UP College of Medicine’s (UPCM) thrust of promoting collaborative research on the country’s health challenges, and to provide a venue for medical students to obtain dual and higher, research-based degrees.
