PASIG CITY, (PIA) — Twenty-five beneficiaries of the Pantawid program in Pasay City have been identified to participate in the urban farmers’ training program.
The participants will undergo a 14-week training that aims to boost livelihood and food security amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since 2013, the DSWD-NCR through the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) has partnered with SM Foundation Incorporated (SMFI) to provide a free Urban Farmers Training – KSK program.
The program is also made possible in partnership with other national government agencies and non-government agencies such as the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants, SM Supermalls and SM Markets. (DSWD-NCR/PIA-NCR)
