SM Foundation was recently named one of the recipients of the Pagkilala sa Natatanging Kontribusyon sa Bayan or PaNaTa Ko sa Bayan Awards 2019.
This is an annual activity of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) that recognizes efforts of individuals, groups, and organizations whose “panata” (vow) is to share their resources, time and selves in providing better opportunities for disadvantaged sectors and to promote inclusive growth.
The awarding ceremony coincided with the 69th anniversary celebration of DSWD. Awardees are chosen based on their significant contributions to the DSWD in fulfilling its mandate of improving the quality of life of the poor and disadvantaged sectors.
