SM Investments Corp. and its subsidiaries, SM Prime Holdings, BDO Unibank and China Banking Corp. won a total of 14 awards in the recent 8th Asian Excellence Awards of Hong Kong magazine Corporate Governance Asia.

SM president Frederic DyBuncio (in photo), BDO chairperson Teresita SyCoson, BDO president and CEO Nestor Tan and SM Prime president Jeffrey Lim were named Asia’s Best Chief Executive Officers.

BDO executive vice president and treasurer Pedro Florescio III was also recognized as Asia’s Best Chief Finance Officer while cited as Best Investor Relations (IR) professionals were Alex Pomento, vice president for investor relations of SM Prime, Luis Reyes Jr., BDO senior vice president of investor relations and corporate planning, and Alexander Escucha, senior vice president and head of the Investor and Corporate Relations Group of China Bank.

SM and BDO won anew as Best in Corporate Communications while SM, BDO, SM Prime and China Bank received awards for Best Investor Relations Companies.
