Nicksters, your favorite festival of fun and frights is back! Nickelodeon brings you “Shocktober” – a scarefest happening on Oct. 31 (Saturday) at the Music Hall of SM Mall of Asia. Witching hours are from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

As a teaser to all things fun and frightful, Nickelodeon will set up Shocktober-themed game booths and photo-op walls in SM Mall of Asia every weekend for the entire month of October. Every Friday to Sunday starting Oct. 2, one among the three Shocktober-themed game booths, namely, the “Avatar’s Floor of Four,” “Touch the Ooze, You Lose!,” and “Jimmy Neutron’s Test Tube Transfer” will be mounted and kids can try their luck in winning some of the cool prizes. There will also be Shocktober’s hospital bed or electric chair photo-op wall where all Nicksters and tricksters can have their cute creepy pictures taken.

And on Oct. 31, put on your spooktacular costumes and be at the Shocktober gates at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall by 3 p.m. when the spookfest starts. If you want your Halloween shock therapy, then bring your friends to The Clinick where creatures that roam are not just the sick. In these rooms, you’ll find everything eerie, uncanny and ghostly. You’ll also come face to face with odd occurrences, the scary staff, and even the dead, bringing all your medical nightmares to life. It will also give you just the Halloween dose that you need.

As a howling bonus, there will also be fang-tastic stage games, lots of prizes, special appearances, and a fireworks display to cap the day!

So how do you score tickets to Nickelodeon’s Shocktober? One way is to visit participating Toy Kingdom and Toy Express stores from Oct. 1 to 31 and purchase a minimum of P1,000 worth of items (inclusive of Halloween toys) to get one ticket good for two persons. From Oct. 1 to 15, Nicksters can also try to win tickets by answering the question: What is the most shocking prank you have ever played on someone? Entries have to be e-mailed to nickster@nick-asia.com on or before Oct. 15. Nickelodeon will choose 100 winners who will each be given 2 tickets good for four persons! Also, you can tune in to Nick on TV5 from Oct. 10 to 24 to join the “Shriekest Scream” promo and be one of the lucky 50 winners to snag 2 tickets to the event. Remember, each ticket is good for two persons.

So, brace yourself and get your spook on because your October will not be over until you’ve made your way to Nickelodeon’s “Shocktober.”
