Green Pinoy Trade Expo 2010 Monday, March 8, 2010
Source: Manila Bulletin The Philippine Products Safety and Quality Foundation Inc. (PPSQF) opens Saturday the “Green Pinoy” Trade Expo at the SM Mega Trade Hall at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City. The annual Trade Expo is being held in celebration of the Consumer Welfare Month.
This year, the “Green Pinoy” Trade Expo on March 5-7, 2010 is being held in response to the global economic crisis and the natural disasters that have hit the country. The event will feature products that are made locally and are environment friendly. It will promote the “Buy Pinoy Buy Local” program to create jobs for our countrymen. The exhibit will also showcase activities for the summer, tourism construction, and beauty and wellness products.
The Philippine Product Safety and Quality Foundation (PPSQF) is a non-stock/non-profit foundation which provides Philippine Industries with the highest quality programs and projects and assists in making available resources that the Department of Trade and Industry needs to ensure that only safe and reliable products will be made available in the Philippine market.
Let us support the Trade Expo by visiting the exhibits and by being more conscious about the sources and the nature of the products that we buy. Let us check the labels and look for products which carry the eco-label so that our environment is protected.
We congratulate the participants and organizers of the “Green Pinoy” Trade Expo 2010 and wish them success in all their endeavors.
