IN support of a twice-a-year volleyball collegiate tournament annually, Shakey's is organizing The Shakey's V-league Summer Camp Year 2: Spike Madness! That will kickoff from March 5 to 7 at SM North Edsa; SM Bacolod, from March 12 to 14; SM Baguio, from March 19 to 21; and SM Megamall, from April 5 to 9. This summer camp is designed for girls nine to 14 years old.

Shakey's V-league superstars Suzanne Roces, Laurence Ann Latigay, Sasa Devanadera, Michelle Carolino, Gretchen Ho and Jinni Mondejar will be among the instructors to give training sessions to young aspiring volleyballs. It will be headed by veteran volleyball coach Roger Gorayeb.

The camp will focus on volleyball basic skills like spiking, receiving, blocking and even stretching. Mall goers will be treated to special volleyball exhibition games. The North Edsa, Cebu and Bacolod legs will be open to the public and is also open to Shakey's Vleague Summer Camp year 2 registrants with a minimum registration fee of P500 inclusive of a Summer Camp Year 2 T-shirt, and a three-day basic training program. The leg in Megamall, on the other hand, is exclusively for Shakey's Vleague summer camp registrants. Registration starts with a minimal fee of P1,500, including the five-day training sessions, special edition premium items like summer camp volley shirt, a tote bag, a sports bottle, hand towel and meals good for five day training period.
