SGV & Co. recently hosted a cocktail reception in honor of Jose T. Sio, who was named the 2009 ING-Finex CFO of the Year. Sio is SM Investments Corp. (SMIC) executive vice president and chief financial officer. He is a former partner of SGV & Co. Sio was unanimously selected as the 2009 ING-Finex CFO of the Year for demonstrating that, as the company's go-to guy for complex financial issues, he "possesses qualities essential to creating wealth in the new economy" attendance at the reception were members of the SM Group leadership team, SGV partners and guests.
